Whether it is your first time in a gym or you just need a refresher, a fitness orientation might be the key to get you on the right track. Fitness orientations are one-on-one instructions with a fitness staff member on the proper use of the cardio or strength equipment available in the facilities. Orientations are keyed to your needs for a fitness routine. We will help you set up the machine to what is correct for you and might even throw in some helpful hints on how to do a well-rounded workout routine.

Want a program that meets YOUR needs? Tired of doing the same thing and not achieving your goals? Try personal training. Our job is to help you achieve your goal safely and guide you to a healthier lifestyle. The first session will involve a review of your medical and exercise history, realistic goal setting, and fitness testing. This information will then be used by your trainer to design a workout program specifically for you based on your current fitness level, your time constraints, and fitness goals. Your remaining sessions will consist of one-on-one workouts with your trainer. The Y has both male and female trainers available.
