"They say writing is a solitary pursuit-and yet I shudder to imagine attempting it without the essential support of my friends and mentors at the YMCA Writer's Voice Center. It is there that I find the necessary criticism to do it better and the generous encouragement to do it again."
A YMCA Writer's Voice Center participant
At the Y, we believe healthy living has as much to do with pursuing interests, passions and learning new things as it does with eating healthy and being active. Our minds and spirits need stimulus and enrichment, and we get so much more from life when we find things-and people-that inspire us.
