Special Event Volunteers

If you like to help on an occasional basis by participating in opportunities to give back to others, this might be the place for you! The Y has many chances throughout the year for you to offer your area of skill and expertise. One of the biggest events of the year is our Annual Healthy Kids Day which offers kids and families a free community day to learn about and celebrate healthy lifestyle choices. Volunteers are also needed to prepare for and assist on the day of the Annual Meeting in the spring of each year.

Policy Volunteers

Policy volunteers are those who might lead on our Board of Directors, any one of our Y committees, help raise funds to ensure the Y stays accessible to all, or might even advocate for the Y's efforts to influence policies and initiatives that positively impact societal issues of importance to our community.
