YMCA
Swim Team
The Bristol
Family YMCA Swim Team is for boys and girls between the
ages of 5 and 14 who love to swim. Kids can come together
and learn the four competitive strokes while increasing
their lifetime commitment to fitness. We focus on swimming
the right way with drills and stroke technique as the primary
emphasis. The YMCA program is centered around the five character
values: Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, Respect, and Faith.
The YMCA will
form a team to compete against local area swim teams in
the Summer League. Teams will also be placed on a rotating
schedule to compete against another team. All teams will
come together for a final day of competition.
