At the Y a supportive community is a big part of wellness. At every age and every level of activity, you'll find people just like you looking to live a little bit healthier. Members and program participants often cite the support and enthusiasm of fellow participants and staff as some of the key factors in their achievement of greater well-being.

Fitness Orientations

Whether it is your first time in a gym or you just need a refresher, a fitness orientation might be the key to get you on the right track. Fitness orientations are one-on-one instructions with a fitness staff member on the proper use of the cardio or strength equipment available in the facilities. Orientations are keyed to your needs for a fitness routine. We will help you set up the machine to what is correct for you and might even throw in some helpful hints on how to do a well-rounded workout routine.

Personal Training

Want a program that meets YOUR needs? Tired of doing the same thing and not achieving your goals? Try personal training. Our job is to help you achieve your goal safely and guide you to a healthier lifestyle. The first session will involve a review of your medical and exercise history, realistic goal setting, and fitness testing. This information will then be used by your trainer to design a workout program specifically for you based on your current fitness level, your time constraints, and fitness goals. Your remaining sessions will consist of one-on-one workouts with your trainer. The Y has both male and female trainers available.

Massage Therapy

Why Massage Therapy? Massage therapy can be utilized as a big part of your overall wellness and a great way to promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and energize your senses. It also helps relieve pain, heal injuries, improve circulation, and address health conditions. Done regularly, massage therapy can provide immediate and cumulative benefits that will leave you feeling better inside and out.
