Bristol YMCA Nears Completion of $1.5 Million Renovation
BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Bristol YMCA is wrapping up a $1.5 million facelift that has revitalized nearly every part of the facility. Leaders say roughly 80% of the building has been upgraded, bringing a fresh new look and improved functionality to the community hub.
The renovations span from cosmetic improvements, like updated exterior paint, to major enhancements in fitness spaces. One of the biggest projects still underway is the swimming pool, which is expected to reopen for members by October.
“We’ve really focused on making the building more welcoming and easier to navigate,” said Senior Program Director Dawn Roller. “Programs are running more efficiently, and we’ve already seen a strong increase in membership. It’s proof that the investment is paying off.”
The extensive modernization marks a milestone in the YMCA’s mission to better serve the Bristol community.
