During extremely bad weather, it may become necessary to close, delay opening, or close the YMCA early. The decision to cancel or delay the opening will be made as early as possible by the CEO and Board of Directors. When the decision is made to close or delay, members are advised of that decision through the following avenues:

A decision to close will be made with every effort to balance appropriate notification time for members with road conditions and safety. Members are encouraged to stay home if they feel the roads are unsafe for travel. Our main priority is the safety of our employees and members.
In case of a closing or delay the following may be affected:
• Group Exercise and Aquatics classes
• After-school Care
• Swim and Float Lessons
• Stay and Play and Kids Gym hours
